The Brother DR-820 Drum Cartridge is required to be replaced every 30,000 pages printed. The printer will warn you and ultimately stop printing when the drum counter reaches 0% life. When replacing the DR820 Brother drum, you will have to reset the printer's drum counter to 100% using the Brother DR820 reset instructions.
